We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administration and Finance Manager to join our team at Badminton Oceania in Auckland, New Zealand.

About Our Organisation

Badminton Oceania is a leading sports organisation in the Oceania region, working closely with the Badminton World Federation to develop programmes and events. Our organisation has a strong presence in 17 Member Countries and is responsible for implementing development programmes and events in the region.

Our Executive Board comprises 5 full-time and 2 part-time staff, who lead the organisation and implement its strategies. Information about our organisation can be found on our website.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Badminton Oceania office, including financial administration, travel and accommodation bookings, and ensuring all IT systems are functioning correctly.

  1. The Administration and Finance Manager will provide operational and strategic support to the Secretary General, including liaising with the Executive Board as required.
  2. The role requires experience in Xero accounting software and Xero payroll, as well as proficiency in financial management and sound knowledge of Microsoft 365.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures
  • Experience in overseeing office operations and contracts
  • Knowledge of the Incorporated Societies Act and working with a volunteer board
  • Ideally previous experience working in a sports or not-for-profit organisation

The remuneration package will be based on experience and competencies, within a salary range of $55,000 - $60,000 (30 hours per week).
