Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and Analyse Financial Reports: The ideal candidate will prepare, analyse, and report monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  2. Support Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accurate financial planning across departments.
  3. Financial Analysis: Analyse financial performance by department and provide insight into key variances, trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
  4. Support Senior Management: Support senior management with financial reports to aid strategic decision-making.
  5. Maintain Internal Controls: Maintain and improve internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  6. Conduct Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis of current and past financial data, as well as forecasting future financial performance.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant: Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent).

  • Financial Skills: Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships across the business.

Desirable:

  • Commercial Property Experience: Experience working within a commercial property or construction business or similar fast-paced environments.
  • Financial Tools: Knowledge of financial analysis tools and techniques.
  • ERP Systems: Experience with ERP systems and financial process automation.
