Mercy Hospice provides specialist palliative care services to patients, families, and whānau within central Auckland. We have an opportunity for a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team.
This part-time role will be responsible for ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. The successful candidate will work 0.5 FTE, either 3 days on payroll weeks, and 2 days on non-payroll weeks, or 4 days on payroll weeks, and 1 day on non-payroll weeks.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Processing and payment of salaries to all employees on a fortnightly basis
- Cumulative analysis of salary and benefit entitlements
- Maintenance of accurate employee records
- Liability compliance with employment law
- Staff consultation on HR personnel issues
We seek a professional with:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of human resources and compensation policies
- Active knowledge of payroll system deployment process, confidentiality
- Internal department guidelines/processes and union representative evidence
- Job satisfaction along with reliability results negotiation (Optimized invoice utilization)
- One year of dedication/exposure via relocation/leisure readings/image- giving ideas, timings punctuality etc.
