Your Job

You'll be working within our Community division as an Operations Manager, overseeing our Participate, CHSP, and ISS programs. Your key responsibility will be to shape and implement strategic opportunities and partnerships that ensure high-quality individualized support services across the Melbourne Metro and Bayside regions.

This role provides leadership that reinforces our commitment to Karingal's values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership direction and assistance to team members
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve key objectives within the scope of the role
  • Ensure ongoing compliance to NDIS practice standards
  • Monitor service delivery standards, assessing the quality of client service outcomes, potential risks, and complaints management
  • Support setting targets and budgets for the team and monitor tracking against targets monthly

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Leadership experience – ideally managing large teams at varying position levels
  • Analytical skills along with a positive attitude and ability to problem solve
  • Comprehensive knowledge of delivering services to people living with a disability, older Victorians, and people living with mental health issues
  • Finance management – aligning budget expenditure to approved budgets
  • An understanding of client care plans ensuring effective communications on care needs and support requirements

You'll also need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in disability or related field, or Certificate IV with substantial experience
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
  • Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Current Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain
  • Current and Valid Drivers License
  • Current First Aid and CPR training
