About this Role: As a Housing Stabilization Specialist with the Métis Nation of Ontario, you will play a critical role in delivering services to clients in communities across Ontario. Your responsibilities will include delivering associated program goals, managing volunteers, maintaining and supporting clients, and evaluating the effectiveness of service and program delivery.
Main Responsibilities are:
- Delivering associated program goals including delivery of services, managing volunteers, maintaining and supporting clients within a pre-defined geographic area
- Providing supports to assist clients in developing skills to deal with and resolve identified challenges
- Maintaining client files including case notes for pertinent data collection, ensuring client confidentiality at all times
- Performing administrative duties related to case management and service delivery
Required Qualifications include:
- Completion of post-secondary education in a related field, such as Social Service Worker, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Client service experience
- Demonstrated social services/community supports experience
- High degree of technology literacy and proficiency in standard office equipment
- Advanced communications skills
- Organization skills and time/priority-management
