We are currently seeking a skilled Scientific Workflow Specialist to join our Isotrace team in Dunedin. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the preparation and processing of various samples for analytical testing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
The position offers an exciting opportunity for professional growth in a dynamic scientific environment, where your work will play a key role in supporting our team's efforts in scientific traceability and sustainability.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in a laboratory setting, with a focus on sample preparation, is highly desirable.
- A degree in a relevant scientific discipline is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to follow protocols and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- The ability to lead and positively influence others as required.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with laboratory tools and techniques involved in sample preparation.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety practices and quality control procedures is a plus.
- Due to the nature of this role, a good level of physical fitness is required as much of the day is spent on your feet and moving around the laboratory.
