We are seeking a highly skilled Treatment Supervisor – Radiation Therapist to join our team at Southern District Health Board in Dunedin, New Zealand.
The key purpose of this role is to provide overall co-ordination of workflow and resources in a treatment area, ensuring the provision of a high-quality service for patients treated in the department.
As a Treatment Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing your team within allocated resources of time and people by promoting efficiency, productivity, and patient safety.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary oncology team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services to our community.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide overall co-ordination of workflow and resources in a treatment area
- Manage your team within allocated resources of time and people
- Promote efficiency, productivity, and patient safety
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver exceptional healthcare services
**Requirements**
- Current registration with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB) and a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
- Excellent time management, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- The ability to be adaptable, flexible, and solution-focused
- Strong clinical and technical skills
