As a member of the Green Options Landscape Management team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the natural beauty of green spaces. This involves reporting to the Operations Manager and overseeing the day-to-day maintenance of the stunning grounds of a high-profile retirement village. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing beautiful gardens, sourcing plants and materials, following garden plans, and implementing best practices for planting and horticulture.

About The Role

This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to engage professionally with residents if needed. You'll also need to take a proactive and results-driven approach, delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Grounds Maintenance: Oversee daily operations at designated sites within the contract, ensuring all maintenance is carried out to the highest standard.
  2. Design and implement beautiful gardens that meet client expectations.
  3. Communicate regularly with the Operations Manager and/or client, promptly addressing and reporting any garden or planting issues.
  4. Maintain a focus on safety, compliance, and quality in all gardening activities.
About You

We're looking for someone with extensive experience in gardening and horticulture. While formal qualifications are beneficial, they're not essential if you bring the right skills and attitude.

We need someone who can:

  1. Hold a full, clean driver's license (manual driving capability is required).
  2. Demonstrate solid knowledge of plant species and their maintenance needs.
  3. Interpret and execute detailed gardening plans with precision.
  4. Engage professionally with residents if needed.
  5. Take a proactive and results-driven approach, delivering high-quality work.
