Job Description
About the PositionThis is an exciting opportunity for a hand therapist to join our team at Waitemata District Health Board. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and has a strong commitment to achieving excellent clinical outcomes.
The successful candidate will have experience in supervising student and junior practitioners and will possess a sound grounding in upper limb anatomy from finger-tip to cervical spine.
You will be based at the Meade Clinical Centre located on the Waikato Hospital campus, with the potential for visits to our rural hospitals to provide clinical input.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of Te Tiriti principles and frameworks and will be committed to upholding equity, diversity, and inclusion principles.
- Essential Requirements:
- Registration and current annual practicing certificate with either Te Poari Whakaora Ngangahau o Aotearoa or Te Poari Tiaki Tinana o Aotearoa
- Experience in supervising student and junior practitioners
- Sound grounding in upper limb anatomy from finger-tip to cervical spine
