Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Hand Specialist to join our team at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora. As a key member of our therapy team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to clients with traumatic upper limb conditions.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience in providing comprehensive clinical assessments and developing effective treatment plans. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert hand therapy services to clients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Supervise student and junior practitioners as needed

Requirements:

  • Registration and current annual practicing certificate with either the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand or the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand
  • Experience in upper limb anatomy and assessment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to achieving excellence in clinical practice
