This is an exciting opportunity to join Transpower's Grid Development division and contribute to the development of our grid risk and resilience datasets and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of four in Wellington to develop and implement the Transpower Climate Adaptation Plan across the business.
  • Work with researchers to improve Transpower's understanding of its vulnerability to Major Hazard events.
  • Support and enable risk-based decisions to be made across the Grid business.
  • Provide climate-related and non-climate-related reporting of risk annually.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as engineering, science, or environmental studies.
  • Experience in team leadership, change management, and asset and risk management.
