Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Community Child Health Nurse to join our team in Taupo, providing an outreach immunization service to tamariki and whanau in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an outreach immunization service to tamariki and whanau in the community
  • Clinically assess and provide child health nursing management and care
  • Engage with General Practice and other health and social service providers as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience post-registration
  • Current annual practicing certificate and authorized vaccinator
  • Registered Nurse Prescriber in Community Health (preferred)
  • Current full driver's license
  • Experience working with family, community groups, organizations, and/or consumer groups; facilitating client and family education
