**Your Role**
We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmologist with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our team. Your primary responsibilities will include participating in routine ophthalmology clinics, theatre sessions, and outreach clinics. You will also be expected to take part in registrar training programs, including hosting the 'Part 2' course preparation in the department.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Completed specialist training as an Ophthalmologist
- Eligibility for or current vocational registration with the New Zealand Medical Council
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring junior colleagues
