About the Role This role reports directly to the General Manager - Medicine and Women's and Children's Health.
This is a high-paced but rewarding role that sees you providing top-level administrative support to the Directorate that oversees the majority of medical specialty functions for Health New Zealand Southern.
As part of the Directorate's leadership team, you will coordinate, support, and interact with the staff of all services in the Directorate as well as many external organisations and internal stakeholders across our regional and national business functions, as well as from time to time, patients and their Whanau.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Facilitating communication channelsOrganising meeting agendas and taking minutesOverseeing schedules and complex diary managementManaging patient feedback and complaints, media and Official information request inquiriesCoordinating the Directorate's adverse events processes, arranging family meetings and liaising directly with Patients and WhanauMaintenance of financial and human resource systems and reportingCoordinating information for various reportsCollation of monthly reportingOverseeing general office administrative duties e.g.
