**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Completed specialist training in ophthalmology
- Eligibility or holding vocational registration with the New Zealand Medical Council
- Enthusiasm for teaching and passing on your knowledge to junior staff members
- Excellent communication and time management skills
**Job Description**
This full-time, permanent position involves working as part of a close-knit team to provide ophthalmology services. Your duties will include participating in routine clinics, theatre sessions, and outreach clinics. You will also be required to participate in the 1:4 on-call roster and be flexible with your scheduling.
