You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team including the National Probation Service, GMP and the Prison Service offering a wide range of treatment interventions and programmes.
You will work with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives and promote recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination.You will provide assessments for people with alcohol and substance misuse issues and with our Doctors, NMP's and Wellbeing Nurses you will provide case management support and healthcare interventions for individuals accessing the service.Where: ManchesterFull Time Hours: 37.5 per weekSalary: £27,449.52 - £31,529.41 per annum (based on full time hours, pro rata for part time hours).Contract Type: 12 months fixed term contract from start date.ResponsibilitiesAbout the role:As a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator, you will play a crucial role at the forefront of our services in Manchester and Tameside.
Your responsibilities will include:Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journeyProviding screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referralWorking with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determinationSupporting specific group work programmes or workshops designed to meet the unique needs of our service users.Close liaison and multi-agency working with other professionals and partnership agencies including Courts, police and probation.Promoting carer, service user and community involvementProvide support for people on a DRR and ATRAbout you:We are looking for individuals who:Have an understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar fieldBe an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with proficient IT skillsProactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skillsBe a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholdersUnderstand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply all necessary safeguardsExperience of supporting and advising participants with complex and/or multiple barriers to success.Experience of working within Criminal Justice Partnerships and/or working within a multiagency system/team.Knowledge of effective interventions that lead to reduction in drug related crime.Experience of carrying out full assessments and identify and manage/escalate/reduce risks identifiedWhat we will give to you:25 days holiday (+ bank holidays) rising for each years' service, pro rata (capped at 30 days).Paid 'Wellness' hour each week along with a 'Wellness' hub and Employee Assist ProgrammeContributory pension schemeSeveral benefits incl.

You may be eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route but must meet the minimum salary requirements for the role.This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level.A further Enhanced Level 1 vetting carried out by His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) and GMP will also be required.Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week.
