About the Auckland System Management (ASM) AllianceThe ASM is an alliance between HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency to operate and maintain Auckland's motorway network.
The Alliance is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using the Auckland transport system.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Asset Engineer to join our team.As Senior Asset Engineer your focus will be on ensuring best practice and innovation in asset management for Transportation Technology, Tunnel assets and roading infrastructure.
Your exciting portfolio will include Transport Technology and Tunnels across the ASM network, and the Moveable Lane Barrier (MLB) on the Auckland Harbour Bridge.You will have a variety of responsibilities, including:Developing Forward Works Programmes and budgets, including Asset Management Plans (3-year, 10-year, and 30-year plans) and SHIP, NLTP inputs.Managing Asset Management Plans, Life Cycle Plans, renewals schedules, and integrated Maintenance Plans.Developing Asset Improvement Plans and innovative initiatives, using best practices and research.Maintaining as-built drawings, asset manuals, and records; ensuring current asset inventory in CMMS (AWM or MEX) by NZTA standards.Ensuring quality asset data and systems data, monitoring performance and service levels, and analysing trends.Developing and reviewing Scopes of Works, Designs, Specifications for renewals and maintenance; handling specialist services and compliance with NZTA Standards.Coordinating with the Tunnels team, other Asset Managers, and the Delivery Team; reviewing plans and conducting quality assurance audits.Consulting with NZTA teams and representing the Asset Manager in forums and National ITS Working Group meetings.Above all, you will work effectively and collaboratively with the wider team, embodying our ASM values in everything you do within your role.About You:Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, experience and skills:Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Asset Management, or a related disciplineFull Driver's LicenseMinimum 5 years of relevant experienceGeneral knowledge of Transport Technology, electronic assets, and Asset Management principlesStrong communication skills (both verbal and written)Proficient in office software and systems (AWM, CMMS, etc.
