About the Role
We are seeking an experienced mental health professional to work as a Local Service Coordinator in our Hutt South Community Mental Health Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating safe, effective, and integrated specialist mental health and addiction treatment services in our local communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with experienced clinicians to deliver person-directed, trauma-informed, and compassionate care.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and non-government organizations to ensure holistic and integrated services.
- Provide cultural competence and equity-focused practice consistent with the spirit and intent of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Develop intentional peer support networks and promote person-directed care.
Requirements
- Registered mental health professional (Community Mental Health Nurse) with a current Annual Practising Certificate.
- Full and clean Driver's License.
- Ability to consent and complete NZ or international Police vetting (Vulnerable Children's Act 2015).
