The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Consultant Psychiatrist with a special interest in older adult's mental health. The successful candidate will join a well-established multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff. They will contribute to the provision of a range of assessment and recovery-focused treatment options for older adults experiencing serious mental health issues and psychiatric complications of neurodegenerative disorders.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent assessment and management skills, with a focus on recovery and collaboration with our service users and their families/whanau. They must also be vocationally registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand, hold a current Practicing Certificate, and have a full and clean driver's license. Furthermore, they should commit to achieving equitable outcomes for Maori.
