We have a vacancy for a part-time Consultant General Paediatrician to carry out general paediatric duties in Rotorua and Taupo. The successful candidate will be part of a stable and experienced team, enjoying excellent support from specialty teams and well-established links with tertiary centres.

The current paediatric team consists of ten specialists, three registrars, and dedicated paediatric SHO support. The department is accredited by RACP for registrar training, providing opportunities for growth and development.

We also offer attachments/teaching for 5th and 6th year medical students from the University of Auckland Medical School. This enhances the learning experience and fosters a culture of knowledge sharing and mentorship within our team.
