The IT Support Specialist is an entry-level position that requires a strong foundation in technical support and communication. The ideal candidate will have a self-motivated and results-oriented approach, with excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person contact
  • Assist with IT asset tracking, including logging and labeling new equipment
  • Manage equipment requests and place orders for necessary items
  • Set up and coordinate new computer and smartphone setups
  • Assist with video conferencing issues and provide training tips or videos
  • Administer SharePoint and review Microsoft Licensing
  • Cordinate jobsite setup, including internet connection installation
  • Provision and de-provision employees in Active Directory and conduct IT orientations
  • Liaise with users and Managed Service Provider (MSP) to resolve issues and improve communication

Requirements:

  • Relevant class or work experience
  • Systems support experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Desirable: Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, and Azure
