We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team in New Zealand. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing mental health services to children and adolescents with eating disorders.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary child and adolescent team. The successful candidate will provide specialist assessments and treatments to children, adolescents, and their families.

The ideal candidate will have at least three to five years of post-licence experience in a child and adolescent mental health setting and experience working with eating disorders. They must also have knowledge of child psychology and development, case management, and be able to apply theoretical concepts and professional knowledge to practice.

In addition, the successful candidate must be eligible to receive their NZ Psychologist with clinical scope and have an annual practicing certificate prior to starting work. They must also be able to meet Immigration New Zealand's health, police background check, and other requirements for a work visa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing mental health services to children and adolescents with eating disorders
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary child and adolescent team
  • Providing specialist assessments and treatments to children, adolescents, and their families
  • Developing treatment programmes and understanding training to clinicians within the team
