Operations Management Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Rotorualibrary. This is a full-time permanent position that will involve handling the day-to-day operations of our transport business.

To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in a management position or a qualification in a relevant field at Diploma level or higher. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the transport industry and experience in managing staff and equipment. Key responsibilities will include handling initial communications, allocating resources, liaising with professionals and staff, creating reports, communicating with external parties, financial management, and staff management.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successful operations management
  • Strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills
  • Able to adapt to changing situations and learn quickly
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Able to use computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. The successful applicant will be required to work 30-40 hours per week, with a minimum pay rate of $35 per hour and a maximum pay rate of $36 per hour.

NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is required for this position.
