ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is required to manage all aspects of our log transport operation.
You will be a person who is highly motivated, has excellent communication skills, and who excels in delivering a superior service to our customers. Your ability to manage a number of operational tasks at any one time will set you apart as a high performing team member.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor performance and profitability across all areas of operations including but not limited to, contractor performance and route and run analysis.
- Oversee daily dispatch procedures and ensure superior service delivery.
- Implement changes in the operational function to raise standards of service.
- Build and maintain key business relationships with customers.
- Lead and develop staff and contractors to provide a premium service to customers.
- Ensure compliance of Health and Safety policies and all legal requirements are being maintained.
- 3-5 years Transport Management experience and a proven track record.
- Exceptional communication skills and excels in delivering superior service.
- Able to focus on the big picture operationally but with an eye for detail.
- Sound organisational skills.
- Resilience and determination.
- Organisational and delegation skills.
- Advanced Skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
