About the Role
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical or power systems engineering, with a minimum of 15 years' experience in HV substation design, including IEC61850 configuration. They will also have demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-discipline projects and meeting delivery requirements for NZ and/or Australian clients.

Job Description
This is a new specialist director level role combining integrated project management and delivery to support AECOM's growth in the New Zealand energy practice. The successful candidate will lead our Transmission & Distribution team in delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects, engaging with clients to drive technically challenging projects forward.

Responsibilities and Requirements
- Degree qualified in electrical or power systems engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 15 years' HV substation design experience including IEC61850 configuration
- Protection settings experience is highly advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-discipline projects and meeting delivery requirements for NZ and/or Australian clients
- Proven client relationship management and business development skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
