We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Lake Ruataniwha Holiday Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the housekeeping team and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the resort.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the housekeeping team to ensure rooms and public areas are cleaned to a high standard.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and communal areas to maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping essentials.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and checklists to ensure consistency and quality of work.
- Assist with guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a housekeeping role, preferably in a leadership or supervisory position.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, health and safety regulations, and inventory management.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
