**About the Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Trauma Nursing Team at Waikato Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. This is a permanent part-time position with 56 rostered hours per fortnight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating the patient and whanau journey for those admitted to the trauma service
- Providing clinical expertise and education to nurses across Waikato Hospital
- Collecting data for nationwide trauma datasets
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and audits/research
Requirements:
- A proficient or expert Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years' experience ideally in Critical Care, Emergency Nursing or Surgical Nursing Speciality
- A current practicing certificate
- A post-graduate qualification or working towards
- A strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently
- Adaptability, flexibility, and agility
