About the Role:

The Waitemata District Health Board is seeking an experienced pediatric surgical nurse to join their team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. As a key member of the pediatric surgery department, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical care to infants, children, and adolescents undergoing elective and acute surgical procedures.

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care pathways that prioritize patient-centered care. Your expertise in pediatric surgical nursing will enable you to provide guidance and education to junior staff members, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality care.

You will also be responsible for driving quality improvement initiatives within the ward and contributing to guideline and procedural review and development.

  • Work collaboratively with the pediatric surgical team to provide expert clinical care to patients
