About Us
Tupu Ora is a specialist service providing assessment and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults with eating disorders. We work closely with community services and hospitals in the Metro Auckland and Northland region to deliver high-quality clinical services. Our team is committed to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori and providing support for therapeutic groups.
Your Role
You will work alongside our multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure that effective and high-quality clinical services are delivered. This includes assisting with therapeutic groups attended by clients and/or whānau. You will have previous experience within mental health and/or eating disorders services and hold a qualification (certificate/diploma) in Mental Health Support work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the delivery of well-organised and well-supported therapeutic groups
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals
- Provide support for clients and/or whānau attending therapeutic groups
- Collaborate with the team to ensure effective and high-quality clinical services
Requirements
- Previous experience within mental health and/or eating disorders services
- A commitment to biculturalism and achieving equitable outcomes for Māori
- Qualification (certificate/diploma) in Mental Health Support work
