About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our 24/7 crisis respite facility. Our team provides short-term support to guests referred by specialist mental health services or their GP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer a listening ear and maintain a supportive environment
  • Assist guests in developing strategies to improve and manage their well-being
  • Liaise with clinical teams and provide medication support

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) Level 4 or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in a busy health setting and supporting people with mental health needs
  • A current full NZ driver's licence
  • A comprehensive first aid certificate covering units 6400, 6401 and 6402
