Our Team

The Disability Support Services (DSS) Group works to ensure fair access to disability support services in New Zealand. As a key member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the development of high-quality policies and processes that support our mission.

About The Role

This is a 6-month fixed-term position based in Wellington or Palmerston North. As a Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and quality responses and advice to Ministerial and Executive Services. You'll also coordinate and manage responses between subject matter experts and response preparers, recommending and implementing improvements to processes and systems as needed.

  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of responses and advice
  • Coordinate responses between subject matter experts and response preparers
  • Recommend and implement process improvements

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience managing workflow and process improvement
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong written skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in decision-making
