The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality strategic advice on a range of portfolio areas to the Chief Executive. As a Senior Governance Specialist, you'll be part of a team of advisors working closely with the Leadership Team and other business units across the Ministry of Social Development. You'll work at pace to provide sound advice and facilitate solutions to complex policy and organisational challenges.

You'll need to think strategically about Ministry priorities, build and maintain strong working relationships across a range of stakeholders, communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation, and understand how to measure and mitigate risk. This role requires adaptability, comfort working at pace, and being able to navigate workplace relationships in a way that supports respectful and effective communication.
