Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Emergency Medical Assistant. In this role, you will drive the ambulance and assist with the delivery of patient care under supervision, ensuring operational readiness of vehicle and equipment.

  • This is a permanent position working an average of 42 hours on a DDNN 4 x 4 roster.
  • You will complete other relevant administrative tasks as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a minimum of a Hato Hone St John First Responder qualification or ATP of EMT.
  • a full NZ driving licence and either have held it for at least one year OR have completed an NZTA approved advanced driving course.

You will embody Hato Hone St John's core values: Do the right thing (Mahi Tika), Side by Side (Tu Tahi), Straight Up (Mahi Pono), Make it better (Whakapai Ake), Open Minds (Whakaaro Nui).
