Watercare delivers more than 400 million litres of water to Auckland every day.

We ensure that sustainability lies at the heart of everything that we do to help protect our water resources for future generations.

This means we are continuously focused on how we can reduce our carbon footprint with initiatives like solar panels and electric cars.

The compliance team works to ensure that the creation, extension and relocation of the water and wastewater network is constructed as per the Auckland Council (AC) and Engineering Plan Approval (EPA).

You will engage with the construction industry on-site for pre-construction meetings, inspections/audit, final inspection meetings to support the approval of newly constructed public assets.

You'll be the connector of things and people, you'll know where to go, who to talk to, and how to keep things moving forward.

You will also bring with you the below skills and experience:

  • Technical qualification in engineering or trade certificate equivalent.
  • 5 - 10 Years' experience in an engineering or construction role.
  • Experience in site supervision and construction, and/or water/wastewater industry experience is ideal.
