Leading Clinical Nurse Manager for Emergency Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our team in the Kidz First Emergency Department at Middlemore Hospital. As a respected leader, you will provide exceptional professional and clinical nursing leadership, promoting quality improvement initiatives, best practice, quality patient and whānau centred care and outcomes, with a strong equity focus and honouring the Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years recent and relevant experience as a Senior Nurse, preferably with Charge Nurse Manager and/or acute paediatric experience. They will also possess a Master's qualification or be currently working towards one, demonstrated expertise in setting standards and managing excellence in practice, coaching and mentoring skills, and proven leadership and staff management experience.

In this role, you will work closely with the ED Nurse Unit Manager, other Charge Nurse Manager roles in ED, and the ED Nurse Educator team. You will be supported by a team of Associate Clinical Nurse Managers and will be responsible for continuing to grow and develop the ED Nursing teams, supporting and enabling nurses to work to the top of their scope.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
