About The Job
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Repair Professional to join our team in Hamilton, servicing the North Island. As part of our team, you will perform pre-delivery inspections and occasionally maintenance and repairs on a large fleet of our Forklifts. Our diverse range of mechanical battery electric and internal combustion Forklifts ensures you have opportunities to develop and increase your skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on Forklift trucks in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Conducting thorough pre-delivery inspections of new Forklifts across Battery Electric and Internal Combustion powered Forklift trucks
- Carrying out service and repairs to customer-owned Forklifts in line with OEM guidelines
- Preparing Rental Forklifts for hire in accordance with our service and maintenance guidelines
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with at least 3 years' experience in Material Handling Equipment or a relevant trade qualification & experience, such as Auto Electrical, Diesel or Motor Mechanics. To excel in this role, you'll bring a customer-centric attitude and a solutions-focused approach, supporting our valued customers with exceptional service. You'll work collaboratively in a team environment, so being a team player and prepared to support your team is essential. Having technical expertise and being an agile learner will also be beneficial.

- A competitive hourly rate ($30-$40 per hour), depending on experience
- Working a minimum 40 hours per week, with the opportunity to work additional hours at time and a half
