Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Taupo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy construction equipment in a professional and efficient manner.
About the Role:
This permanent position offers the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge further within the heavy diesel industry. You will work closely with our workshop and parts department to ensure excellent daily communication and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment
- Maintain good relationships with customers and potential customers
- Work closely with the workshop and parts department
- Complete paperwork and timecards accurately
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Trade qualification in a relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy diesel maintenance
- Experience working with electronic diagnostic equipment
- Hydraulics experience
- Experience working on construction equipment/plant
