The University of Auckland seeks an experienced Administration Support Specialist to provide day-to-day administrative support for teaching and learning activities, workshops, seminars, and panels within the Faculty of Engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a good standard of computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office suites and be able to work independently, using initiative to solve problems requiring judgement and interpretation of established information.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Assisting with the production of teaching materials and lecture handouts.
  • Supporting academic staff in departmental management of postgraduate students.
  • Coordinating assessment and examination processes.

About The Role

This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week role on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency in Faculty and department administration processes.
