Educational Innovation and Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced educational innovation and development manager to join our Future Learning and Development team at the University of Canterbury. As Assistant Director (Academic), you will play a key role in shaping the future of online and flexible education, leading the development of innovative learning solutions and managing a high-performing team.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in hybrid/online delivery, with a sound understanding of higher education and current and emerging online education technologies. A Ph.D. qualified individual with strategic ability and experience of project management and quality assurance, you will be responsible for identifying and supporting the development and delivery of engaging, innovative and future-focused learning solutions.

You will contribute to the transformation of flexible, accessible and future-focused education, working collaboratively with colleagues to drive excellence in teaching and learning. Based in Christchurch, you will be part of an inclusive community that values people and their differences, extends care and empowers others, and enhances and nurtures its resources.
