**Company Overview**
The Counties Manukau District Health Board is a leading healthcare provider in the Auckland region. Our team of professionals work together to make a positive difference to the people we serve, the communities we work in, and to each other.
We are looking for a highly skilled Clinical Engineering ICT Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist clinical engineering ICT services to not only Counties Manukau but also HTM nationally.
**Key Responsibilities**
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Carrying out IT risk assessments of new technology and equipment being considered across the hospitals and clinics served by HTM.
- Providing ongoing clinical engineering ICT consultancy and guidance services.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Relevant tertiary engineering qualification (NZQA level 5/6 or equivalent). This may include a Diploma or degree in Electronics, ICT, or Electrical Engineering, and/or Clinical Engineering.
- At least 5 years' hands-on experience in the information and communication technology technical field, with a good understanding of ICT systems (including networks, hardware, etc.) and software.
- Registration as an Electrical Appliance Serviceperson or higher class with the Electrical Workers Registration Board.
- Strong technical skills and understanding of medical equipment and/or ICT principles, electronics, and mechanical systems.
