Job DescriptionThe Specialist Claims Assessor will use available information relevant to the claimant to conduct an assessment of their claim against the Historic Claims assessment framework. They will provide recommendations to support decision making and work closely with Team Leader and Claims Advisors to make decisions on the acceptance of allegations. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and a willingness to learn and evolve.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess claims under the Historic Claims assessment framework
- Work with Senior Claimant Support Specialists to ensure all relevant information is readily available
- Prepare information for and/or contribute to claimant feedback sessions
- Synthesise large amounts of information into concise well-written assessments
- Ensure all relevant information is recorded through the assessment process
