The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of game development principles, as well as experience with testing methodologies and tools. You will be responsible for researching, locating, replicating, and documenting bugs to ensure an enjoyable gaming experience for our players.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing test plans on pre-release versions of software
- Assessing product functionality against design documents
- Researching and documenting software issues
- Generating software bug reports that detail the issue in a concise and accurate manner
- Collaborating with QA team members and other developers to ensure quality and fun
- Provide feedback on features in development
- Perform daily tests and take responsibility for the quality and stability of new game content, new features, and upcoming releases
- Verify fixes applied by developers (bug regression)
- Contribute to and help maintain a project bug database
- Other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned to help complete company or department objectives
