About Us

Our team of experienced and compassionate independent psychologists is dedicated to delivering high-quality professional support to children, adolescents, and their families in an onsite setting.

The Role

  • You will conduct assessments, therapy, and interventions for children and adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges.
  • You will provide counseling and support to parents/caregivers and families addressing the emotional needs and dynamics within the family system.
  • You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
  • You will offer therapeutic interventions and strategies tailored to the developmental needs of children and adolescents.
  • You will provide psychoeducation and support to families regarding mental health, coping strategies, and child development.
  • You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including schools, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
  • You will maintain clear, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

What We're Looking For

  • Registration with the relevant Practicing Board in New Zealand.
  • Current Practicing certificate in the relevant field of Practice in New Zealand.
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance strongly recommended.
  • New Zealand Resident or Citizen with the right to work in New Zealand.
  • Proven experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a therapeutic capacity.
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health disorders, and family systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
  • Commitment to providing culturally competent, inclusive care.
  • Experience with evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Family Therapy, or other relevant evidence-based approaches.
