Psychological Services Consultant

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Waitakere Hospital. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will work with clients from diverse backgrounds to provide high-quality psychological services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Your expertise will enable you to deliver evidence-based interventions and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and neuropsychological assessments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain expertise and stay updated on best practices
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
- Current APC registration with the New Zealand Psychologists Board
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
