Group Accounting Position

The Group Accountant role is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic in-house accounting team. The successful candidate will have a degree in Accounting and CA qualification or working towards it. They will have 1-2 years of experience in Big 4 or a similar high-caliber accounting environment and strong knowledge of NZ IFRS and financial reporting principles.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards for the Group and its subsidiaries.
- Assist with the monthly consolidations for the T&G Group.
- Perform variance analysis and resolve trial balance issues.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual and half-year financial reports.
- Assist with both internal and external financial reporting, including audit processes and reporting to our overseas parent company.
- Work on ad-hoc projects that support business growth and process improvement.
