About the opportunity We're looking for a Group Accountant to join our Group Reporting team based at our Global Hub in Ellerslie (Auckland).
This is an exciting career opportunity to transition from professional services into an in-house, global accounting role.
Key responsibilities include: Ensure compliance with all accounting standards for the Group and its subsidiaries.Assist with the monthly consolidations for the T&G Group.Perform variance analysis and resolve trial balance issues.Contribute to the preparation of annual and half-year financial reports.Assist with both internal and external financial reporting, including audit processes and reporting to our overseas parent company.Work on ad-hoc projects that support business growth and process improvementAbout You: Degree qualified in Accounting.CA qualified or working towards it.1-2 years of experience in Big 4 or a similar high-caliber accounting environment preferred.Strong knowledge of NZ IFRS and financial reporting principles.Experience with multi-company consolidations and interpreting financial reports.
