Historic Claims is a service designed to address allegations and concerns of historical abuse in State care. Our aim is to provide support and resolution for those affected, ensuring they receive the information they need to understand their past experiences. The Information Coordination & Claims Specialist plays a vital role in facilitating this process, ensuring timely release of personal information and compliance with relevant legislation.

Job Description
This role involves:
• Coordinating the release of personal information to claimants, ensuring it adheres to legislative requirements and established procedures
• Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, fostering trust and cooperation
• Collaborating with colleagues to achieve high-quality outcomes and meet service delivery targets
• Providing exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Maintaining accurate records and reports, ensuring data integrity and compliance

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
• A degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Proven expertise in managing personal information and confidentiality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organisational and time management abilities, prioritising tasks effectively
• Ability to empathise with clients, understanding their needs and priorities
