In this role, you will deliver nursing input to the health protection team to manage communicable disease, including case and contact management, outbreak investigation and control, and prevention. You will work in partnership with whānau and communities to uphold our obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
You will participate in education, quality assurance, and policy development.
Your role involves building and maintaining positive relationships at all levels and modelling an agile approach – trying new approaches, learning quickly, adapting fast. You will utilize nursing knowledge and skills through reflective practice, critical thinking, and professional judgement to provide competent care and advice while working to top of scope.
