Facilities Operations Manager

The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to deal with all levels of employees, management, and clients in a professional manner. You will be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances, working closely with the facilities team and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first level support for building facilities issues, liaising with contractors and the National Facilities Team.
- Manage the office space for multiple organizations, ensuring both are well-maintained and meet required standards.
- Offer front-of-house support, including reception services, mail and courier management, common staff area maintenance, and upkeep of office equipment.
- Maintain the coffee machine to ensure a smooth and effective office environment.
- Support security requirements, reporting and acting on any issues promptly.
- Lead the site's Health and Safety efforts, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and training evacuation wardens.
- Assist staff with administrative tasks as needed, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Oversee the site's fleet vehicles, ensuring regular maintenance and inspections.
- Collaborate with regional leads to respond to after-hours security incidents.
- Support event organization, setup, food preparation, and cleanup as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with facilities management principles and practices.
- Experience in first-level support for building-related issues.
- Proficiency in systems reporting and management software.
- Working knowledge of security software and site security protocols.
- Reception duties, including enquiry management and courier services.
- Effective customer service skills and knowledge.
- Proficiency in computer packages, including Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to manage relationships with external stakeholders.
