Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Auckland team, driving procurement activities on a major project. As a key player in developing and implementing procurement strategies, you will oversee complex trades and packages, ensuring smooth project delivery to strict timelines.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Negotiating with suppliers
  • Managing supplier relationships
  • Oversight of supply chains
  • Establishing commercial arrangements
  • Financial management throughout the project
  • Budget management
  • Cost reviews
  • Progress claims and variations
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Contract setup, reviews, and project reporting
  • Dispute/claim resolution
  • Project closeout

About You

With at least 3 years of experience as a Commercial Manager and 10 years as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you have a strong understanding of construction processes. Your leadership skills will be vital in guiding and motivating your direct reports. A Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification is preferred.
